The Agility side

Yes, I am practicing agility with my American Staffordshire Terrier AND he is GOOD ! So, if anybody wonders why? We do it because, he really really likes it, that is the main thing. And in addition, its a nice physical excersise for both of us. He can unload his energy, and I can basicly unload some winterweight :) Agility is very fun and quite easy hobby to have. You just need a little bit of brains, a lot of patience and the ability to have fun. For me, the competitive side is not so important. Since I am not a good loser at all, I do not make him compete with other dogs. Because of my work, it's very complicated for me to find time to train, so we go to trainings once a week at this point. I hope, that in the future, I can start training him more often, and then, when I believe he is ready, we will definately got to some competitons also. If we don't gain anything, then atleast we can show people that amstaffs are really fun sports, show and family dogs. And here is a small video from our last weeks training. Enjoy :)

The Biggest American Staffordshire Terrier Speciality "Amstaff Major '14" Hungary

So we attended to the biggest speciality of our breed and also the following 2 CACIB shows. It was one quite crazy trip. We drove total about 3000km from Estonia through Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Slovak to Hungary and back. Our car broke on the way there, so we drove most of the trip without gas pedal, using the speed controller. It was crazy but fun trip with nice people. The quality of the dogs presented was impressive. I belive that Zero could also do well in such big show, but we are still struggling with his broken temperament. Until this show, he was STILL NOT EATING, so he looked quite scary. After arriving back home I took him off the Sam's Field and started feeding with Köbers dog muesli, and this crap is ACTUALLY working. Its almost a month from this events to writing this post and he is still eating nicely all the meals I give him.

Latvian Winner show in Riga 22.-23rd March '14

Since Zero has some problems with eating he still didn't gain any weight, also this was the biggest show we ever attended, so he was quite stressed. No special results from this show, day one: good day two: exc. JUN/4
